Impressions in Stone has been involved in the restoration of many of our historically
important buildings, especially in and around the Stirling area: Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, Argyll's Lodgings, The Old Town Jail, Stirling Railway Station and Alloa Tower to name but a
few.
As well as carrying out extensive restoration works to The Church of the Holy Rude - one of Scotland's oldest churches - we were also asked to carve a large plaque in the
stone floor to commemorate the crowning of James VI. The Queen unveiled the plaque at an official ceremony in 1998.
Other prestigious contracts throughout Scotland include restoration and refurbishment
works to Dunblane Cathedral, Rosyth Naval Dock Yard, The Great Eastern Hotel in Glasgow, The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, The Dean Gallery in Edinburgh, The Gateway Theatre in
Edinburgh, the Forth Road Bridge, Loch Lomond Golf Course, Admirals House in North Queensferry, Stanley Mills in Perth, Bishopton Railway Station, Paisley Town Hall and many more.
