Impressions in Stone was established as a masonry contractors in 1987 by Alex Milne - who was already a highly regarded and award-winning stonemason. The company is still very proud of its small business status and knows that the personal touch is vitally important - both with main contractors on site and when dealing directly with domestic customers. Our team of highly skilled stonemasons and labourers work extremely hard to ensure that our reputation for providing good advice, a high standard of workmanship and a professional finish is always delivered - no matter the size of the masonry job. We carry out a diverse range of works - from small domestic to large restoration or new build contracts -using a wide range of natural sandstones and other materials.
Range of Masonry Works
The diverse range of masonry works we carry out includes the likes of general stone repairs, large and small scale restorations and alterations to a variety of different types of stone buildings. It also includes all types of stone walling, new build in natural stone, hard landscaping such as paving, chimney repairs or rebuild, re-pointing, stone name plaques, one-off commissions, gate piers and pillars and supply only of a wide range of natural sandstones.
